AMC Theaters

AMC Theaters are very well known in the Kansas and Missouri area. With Avila University being on the state line, it allows students to bounce back and fourth from Kansas to Missouri. Avila University’s library as been known to give the students free presents through out the work week. By receiving an email through Avila, students can find out if there are things being given away and on which day. The library tends to be the hot spot to go when students find out about the free “give away days”. When school started Avila gave out cool sunglasses to students, representing with the Avila “A” logo on them. Recently students have been exciting to hear that the library has free movie passes. Working with AMC Theaters, students are able to go to the library and show a student ID. Then they are able to receive one free movie pass to the local AMC Theaters. Having two AMC’s being less than a fifteen-minute drive, students love the idea. Teachers and parents of Avila students think that by Avila funding a few movie passes, it steers their children and students away from getting into any sort of trouble. Keep that email up to date and look for the next time Avila University may be giving out a free night to the movies.
